EMG x TARAN TACTICAL TR-9 GAS BLOWBACK AIRSOFT PCC
12-inch carbon fibre handguard • 40-round gas magazine • Adjustable EMG ALPHA stock
The EMG x Taran Tactical Innovations TR-9 brings competition-inspired styling to a gas blowback airsoft carbine. Its aluminium receiver carries deep-engraved TTI markings.
A carbon fibre handguard keeps the front end light. The included Hi-Capa-style magazine gives the TR-9 its distinct pistol-calibre carbine, or PCC, appearance.
ALUMINIUM RECEIVER AND ENHANCED MAGWELL
The TR-9 has a CNC-machined aluminium alloy receiver with a billet-style shape.
An enhanced magazine well helps guide the magazine into place. The large magazine release button is easy to reach during reloads.
12-INCH CARBON FIBRE HANDGUARD
The 12-inch free-floating handguard uses carbon fibre construction. Its slim, round shape provides a light front end and a clear grip area.
M-LOK slots accept accessories with compatible mounts. A lightened Picatinny top rail provides space for a suitable optic.
Check mounting hardware and clearance before fitting accessories.
PERFORMANCE ARCHITECTURE
The TR-9 uses gas blowback operation. Gas powers the action and cycles the bolt, giving recoil feedback as you fire.
The system supports many Tokyo Marui MWS-spec parts. Fit is not universal, so check each part for this exact model before ordering.
Temperature, gas choice and magazine condition affect performance. Follow the maker’s guidance for gas and routine care.
40-ROUND HI-CAPA-STYLE MAGAZINE
A 40-round gas magazine is included. Its slim pistol-style shape is a defining part of the TR-9 design.
The rifle also lists support for other EMG lightweight Hi-Capa magazines. Confirm the exact magazine model before buying spares. The Hi-Capa name alone does not guarantee fit.
CONTROLS ON BOTH SIDES
The TR-9 has an ambidextrous safety selector and bolt release. These controls can be reached from either side of the rifle.
The selector uses a 45-degree position for semi-auto and a 180-degree position for full-auto. Follow your field’s firing-mode rules.
ADJUSTABLE STOCK AND GRIP DETAILS
The EMG ALPHA retractable stock lets you change the length to suit your reach and gear.
A textured EMG AR-style grip provides a firm contact surface. An adjustable polymer finger pad lets you fine-tune finger placement.
LISTED VELOCITY
The supplied manufacturer rating is approximately 410–430 FPS. The BB weight used for that rating is not stated here, so it does not confirm muzzle energy.
Have the rifle tested with your playing BBs before use. Check that it meets your field’s energy limits and minimum engagement distances.

Is the TR-9 suitable for CQB?
Its lightweight construction and PCC layout provide excellent maneuverability in tighter environments. However, the manufacturer-rated 410–430 FPS may exceed the limits of many CQB or indoor fields. Always chronograph the rifle and verify your field’s FPS and Joule limits before play.
