WOLVERINE AIRSOFT MTW “FORGED SERIES” GEN 2

TACTICAL / 10″ SBR

COMPACT HPA • FORGED CONSTRUCTION • PHOENIX CNC HOP-UP • INVICTUS QUAD RAIL

INFERNO GEN 2 // FORGED RECEIVERS // 10″ SBR // PICATINNY QUAD RAIL // PHOENIX CNC HOP // GEN 2 PREMIUM FCU

The Wolverine Airsoft MTW Forged Series Gen 2 HPA Powered M4 – Tactical / 10″ SBR takes Wolverine’s flagship purpose-built HPA platform and packages it into a compact, premium configuration loaded with some of the company’s latest technology.

MTW stands for Modular Training Weapon, and unlike an AEG converted to HPA, the MTW was engineered from the beginning around its HPA operating system. Engine alignment, feeding, electronics, hop-up, receivers, and controls are designed to function as one integrated platform.

The Tactical 10″ SBR combines Wolverine’s INFERNO GEN 2 HPA engine with forged receivers, the new Invictus CNC Phoenix Hop-Up, GEN 2 Premium Electronics, an Invictus Picatinny Quad Rail, CNC adjustable trigger, premium real-steel grip, heavy-duty mil-spec stock, and advanced MTW functionality.

This is the compact Forged Series for players who want the premium MTW architecture in a shorter, traditional quad-rail package.

THE MTW DIFFERENCE

PURPOSE-BUILT FOR HPA.

The MTW isn’t a conventional M4 AEG with its gearbox replaced by an HPA engine.

Wolverine designed the platform specifically around HPA.

The Forged Series starts with AR-style receiver forgings that are machined to Wolverine’s intrinsically aligned HPA airsoft specifications, creating a rigid foundation for the engine, hop-up, feeding system, and barrel assembly.

The forged upper incorporates a spring-loaded charging handle, forward assist, and cosmetic dust cover, while CNC-machined operator controls complete the lower receiver.

The result is an HPA platform where the major components were designed to work together from the beginning.

POWERED BY // INFERNO GEN 2

At the heart of the Tactical MTW is Wolverine’s proven:

INFERNO GEN 2

The engine uses Wolverine’s HYBRID open/closed-bolt technology, combining characteristics of both operating designs into a versatile HPA system engineered around consistency.

Because the INFERNO GEN 2 is installed inside the purpose-built MTW architecture, it operates as part of a complete factory system rather than as a standalone aftermarket conversion.

For players researching a factory-built Wolverine HPA rifle, this integrated design is one of the MTW’s most important advantages.

PHOENIX // CNC PRECISION

The Tactical Forged Series receives another major component:

INVICTUS CNC PHOENIX HOP-UP

Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the Phoenix Hop-Up introduces a sophisticated design featuring a Delrin bushing system and adjustable bucking tension.

Rather than treating the hop-up as a basic supporting component, Wolverine and Invictus have developed the Phoenix as part of the MTW’s precision architecture.

Combined with the INFERNO GEN 2 and intrinsically aligned receiver system, the Phoenix gives the Tactical 10″ SBR a premium factory-installed hop-up foundation.

TACTICAL // INVICTUS QUAD RAIL

One of the biggest visual and functional differences between this Tactical model and other MTW configurations is the:

INVICTUS PICATINNY QUAD RAIL

Instead of the M-LOK Advanced Rail found on other Forged configurations, the Tactical SBR uses a traditional Picatinny quad-rail layout.

The rail provides the distinctive appearance associated with classic tactical carbine builds while maintaining the premium construction expected from Invictus Manufacturing.

Integrated front and rear QD sling plates provide convenient mounting locations for compatible sling hardware.

Combined with the 10″ configuration, the quad rail gives this MTW a compact and unmistakably tactical profile.

CONTROL // GEN 2 PREMIUM ELECTRONICS

The INFERNO GEN 2 is managed through Wolverine’s latest GEN 2 Premium Electronics package.

An easy-to-use LED programming menu provides access to supported electronic settings, while an updated trigger algorithm further refines the system.

Wolverine also incorporates an optical select-fire sensor and short detection into the GEN 2 electronics.

GEN 2 ELECTRONICS

Premium FCU
LED Programming Interface
Updated Trigger Algorithm
Optical Select-Fire Sensor
Short Detection

It’s an advanced electronic control package integrated directly into Wolverine’s factory HPA architecture.

CNC // OPERATOR INTERFACE

Premium machining continues into the rifle’s controls.

The Forged Series includes a CNC adjustable curved trigger, manufactured by Wolverine’s sister company, Invictus Manufacturing.

It works alongside durable all-metal CNC-machined controls including an ambidextrous selector and functioning bolt catch / release.

The Tactical model also includes a premium real-steel grip and heavy-duty mil-spec stock, completing the compact SBR configuration with upgraded furniture from the factory.

FEED SYSTEM // REFINED GEN 2 DESIGN

The latest Forged Series receives Wolverine’s Improved Feed Tube.

The revised design increases durability while incorporating an:

INTEGRATED BB LATCH

It’s a small but important refinement that works alongside the Phoenix Hop-Up and MTW’s purpose-built feeding architecture.

The rifle also incorporates empty-mag detection when paired with the appropriate compatible setup.

Together with the functioning bolt release, these features create a more integrated operating experience than a basic HPA conversion.
