DIGITAL WOODLAND. // EIGHT-MAGAZINE CAPACITY. // LOW-PROFILE DESIGN.
01 // RRV-INSPIRED HERITAGE
Traditional chest-rig styling, modern functionality.
The Matrix Special Operations Chest Rig draws inspiration from the historic Rhodesian Reconnaissance Vest.
The RRV concept evolved from earlier chest-carried equipment systems associated with the 1970s and 1980s.
Matrix’s modern interpretation preserves the straightforward layout of these classic chest rigs while adding practical recreational airsoft storage features.
The result is a recognizable design with an emphasis on accessibility and organized equipment carrying.
Its heritage-inspired appearance complements both traditional and contemporary airsoft clothing styles.
02 // LIGHTWEIGHT, LOW-PROFILE CONSTRUCTION
Essential storage without unnecessary bulk.
The Matrix RRV is designed for players who prefer carrying essential equipment in a compact configuration.
Its low-profile architecture concentrates storage across the front of the chest rig instead of using the larger body of a full-size tactical vest.
This streamlined arrangement provides a minimalist appearance while retaining several dedicated storage compartments.
The design is particularly appealing to recreational airsoft enthusiasts who value a simple, organized equipment carrier.
Actual fit and comfort depend on individual body dimensions and the equipment carried.
LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN. // COMPACT PROFILE. // ORGANIZED STORAGE.
03 // EIGHT-MAGAZINE STORAGE CAPACITY
Four integrated front pouches.
The Matrix RRV includes four magazine pouches arranged across the front.
Together, these compartments are designed to accommodate up to eight M4/M16-style airsoft magazines.
This integrated layout keeps the primary magazine storage in one organized section.
Magazine compatibility may vary depending on individual dimensions, baseplates, and manufacturer designs.
The stated capacity applies to appropriately sized M4/M16-style magazines and should not be assumed for every magazine type.
04 // GENERAL-PURPOSE UTILITY POUCH
Dedicated storage for smaller essentials.
An integrated general-purpose pouch provides additional storage for compatible field accessories and personal items.
The pouch features a drawstring closure at the opening, complemented by a folding flap secured with a buckle.
This dual-closure arrangement is intended to help keep smaller contents contained during normal recreational activity.
The utility compartment adds flexibility to the rig without requiring an additional standalone pouch.
Its practical design complements the Matrix RRV’s organized front-mounted layout.
05 // RADIO & ADMINISTRATIVE STORAGE
Multiple compartments in one compact design.
The Matrix Special Operations RRV includes a standard-style radio pouch and an integrated administrative panel.
The admin pouch features map pockets for compact documents and similar accessories.
It also includes one pistol magazine pouch designed for a compatible airsoft pistol magazine.
Hook-and-loop material provides attachment space for identification patches and name tapes.
Together, these compartments create a versatile organization system for recreational airsoft equipment.
06 // DIGITAL WOODLAND & MOLLE MODULARITY
Distinctive camouflage. Expandable storage.
This model features a Digital Woodland camouflage pattern, giving the rig a contemporary woodland-inspired appearance.
Its patterned exterior distinguishes it from solid-colour and arid camouflage alternatives.
The chest rig also features full MOLLE compatibility, supporting compatible modular pouches and accessories.
This allows the integrated storage layout to be complemented by additional compatible equipment.
Individual accessory fitment should be confirmed, as MOLLE-compatible products can vary in size and construction.
